KK Kids Chairs and KK Kids Sofa

All KK Kids Chairs and KK Kids Sofas are made from 35 kg cold cure foam certified according to OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and durable textiles. The upholstery is NOT removable.

Cleaning: The chairs should be cleaned regularly by vacuuming with a soft brush and if necessary, stain removal.

For stain removal, you use a clean, well-wrung cloth, optionally with a small amount neutral soap. It is important that you only use a moderate amount of water when removing stains because excessive water can cause moisture damage in the foam. You can place a tea towel in between the foam and the textile. In addition, it is important to make a damp ring of an appropriate size around the stain to prevent subsequent discoloration. Always vacuum the entire piece of furniture prior to stain removal.

Multipurpose Mattresses

All mattresses from by KlipKlap are made from 35 kg cold cure foam certified according to OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and durable textiles. Below you will find instructions on how to maintain all our mattresses, both in terms of cleaning and adjusting the upholstery.

Since all mattresses are upholstery furniture (foam covered in textile), there is a probability that the foam and upholstery will dislocate over time. This is completely normal for upholstery furniture, and it is easy to readjust yourself. In cooperation with our upholsterer, we have created a video showing you how.

The upholstery is removable on all mattresses, but this requires you to cut off the buttons and sew them back on afterwards. Furthermore, you should be quite gentle with the zips when the upholstery is taken off and put back on again. Especially when you put the upholstery back on, it is important that one person holds the zip close together while another person slowly zips it back up. Taking off the upholstery should be limited to an absolute minimum and ideally be avoided altogether. Always try thorough stain removal first. Please be aware, that we do not take claims of removed and machine washed textiles.

In terms of cleaning the mattress, you should be aware which textile you have chosen. Find information on all textiles and the recommended cleaning below. For all textiles, however, we highly recommend regular vacuuming with a soft brush and stain removal with water and neutral soap if necessary.
