Privacy Policy

Respecting your privacy is very important for us. Our privacy policy meets the personal data requirement in accordance with the existent consumer and data protection law.

All the information provided is only used to ensure you the best possible experience, when you visit our website.

When you place an order with us, we request certain personal information. The personal information collected by us is name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number and financial information such as credit card number, expiration date and the three digit security code. For safety reasons we do not store credit card or other payment information. We use this information for billing purposes and to complete your order.

We save your e-mail address to send you an order confirmation as well as notice you when your order has been shipped. Your name and address will show on a label of your package with your order. The data is registered at by KlipKlap ApS and will be kept for a period of five years. Afterwards the information will be deleted. We cooperate with different companies which process and file data. These companies process data solely on our behalf and may not use personal data for their own purposes. We cooperate solely with data processors within EU or within countries which provide the same level of protection. You have the right to get access to information registered about you. If you believe the information to be incorrect you have the right to have the information rectified. In some cases we will have to delete your data if requested by you. It could for example be if the information is no longer necessary to the purpose we originally needed it for. We only disclosure your information with partners such as freight companies and our stock to the extent that it is necessary to fulfil your order. Your telephone number is required for shipping purposes, in case the shipping company needs to contact you regarding the delivery.

by KlipKlap processes personal data for marketing purposes under the existent laws, including the requirement to collecting your consent before sending out our newsletter.

We save your e-mail address to i.a. send you an order confirmation as well as notice you when your order has been shipped.

Customer and order data are protected by encryption during transmission and the subsequent storing. by KlipKlap uses Secure Socket Layers (SSL), the industrial standard for transmitting information to process your order.

You have the right to, upon request, be informed which information we have registered of you and take exception to a registration according to the personal data protection act. If the information is wrong, incomplete or irrelevant, you have the right to have the information corrected or deleted. by KlipKlap ApS saves personal data and relevant purchase data for a maximum of five years according to the bookkeeping law.

Which data do we have on you?

The data we collect on you is your name, address, e-mail and phone number submitted by the consumers themselves when placing an order in our webshop or by signing up to our newsletter.

What is purpose with the data?

Collecting these data is necessary to be able to send your order or newsletter to you. The data we collect from by KlipKlap’s webshop comes solely from the information you chose to give to us when ordering online or by signing up to our newsletter.

Where do we store your data?

The data that we collect from you is stored within the European Economic Area (“EEA”) but may also be transferred to and processed in a country outside of the EEA. Any such transfer of your personal data will be carried out in compliance with applicable laws. For transfers outside the EEA, by KlipKlap will use Standard Contractual Clauses and Privacy Shield as safeguards for countries without adequacy decision from the European Commission.

Who access your data?

We never pass on, sell or swap your data for marketing purposes to third parties outside by KlipKlap. Data that is forwarded to third parties, is only used to provide you with our services.

What is the legal ground for processing?

For every specific processing of personal data we collect from you we will inform you whether the provision of personal data is statutory or required to enter a contract and whether it is an obligation to provide the personal data and possible consequences if you choose not to.

Right to access:

You have the right to request information about the personal data we hold on you at any time. You can contact by KlipKlap that will provide you with your personal data via e-mail.

Whenever by KlipKlap process your personal data by automated means based on your consent or based on an agreement you have the right to get a copy of your data transferred to you or to another party. This only includes the personal data you have submitted to us.

You have the right to request rectification of your personal data if they are incorrect, including the right to have incomplete personal data completed.

Right to erasure:

You have the right to erase any personal data processed by, by KlipKlap at any time except for the following situations

- you have an ongoing matter with Customer Service

- you have an open order which has not yet been shipped or partially shipped

- you have an unsettled debt with by KlipKlap, regardless of the payment method

- if you are suspected or have misused our services within the last four years

- if you have made any purchase, we will keep your personal data in connection to your transaction for book keeping rules

Your right to object to processing based on legitimate interest:

You have the right to object to processing of your personal data that is based on by KlipKlap legitimate interest. by KlipKlap will not continue to process the personal data unless we can demonstrate a legitimate ground for the process which overrides your interest and rights or due to legal claims.

You have the right to object to direct marketing, including profiling analysis made for direct marketing purposes.

You can opt out from direct marketing by following the instructions in each marketing email.

Right to restriction:

You have the right to request that by KlipKlap restricts the process of your personal data under the following circumstances:

- if you object to a processing based on by Klipklap's legitimate interest, by KlipKlap shall restrict all processing of such data pending the verification of the legitimate interest.

- if you have claim that your personal data is incorrect, by KlipKlap must restrict all processing of such data pending the verification of the accuracy of the personal data.

- if the processing is unlawful you can oppose the erasure of personal data and instead request the restriction of the use of your personal data instead

- if by KlipKlap no longer needs the personal data but it is required for your to make of defending legal claims.

Right to complain with a supervisory Authority: If you consider by KlipKlap to process your personal data in a incorrect way you can contact us. You also have the right to turn in a complaint to a supervisory authority.

Can I get access to my Personal Data?

 

You can always get information about your personal data in accordance to “The Right of Access by the Data Subject” (GDPR). If you wish to exercise your right, you need to contact us by sending an email to: info@byklipklap.dk. We will strive to answer you request within a week.

Please note: The right to access by the data subject is applicable in most cases, but there exist exceptions in special cases.
